ECB supervisory fees for 2020 amount to € 514.3 million

• Charges for 2020 of €514.3 million result from actual expenditure of €535.3 million less the surplus from 2019 and other adjustments
• Re-prioritisation of tasks as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic with largely unchanged costs compared to 2019
• After changeover to retrospective invoicing, banks will only pay fees in the second quarter of 2021
