PRIVACY

1. Privacy policy

Thank you for visiting our website. Below, we would like to inform you about how we use your data in accordance with Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Person responsible

The office named in the legal notice is responsible for data collection and processing.

Storage of the IP address

We store the IP address transmitted by your web browser for a strictly limited period of seven days in the interest of detecting, limiting and eliminating attacks on our websites. Once this period has expired, we delete or anonymize the IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 Cl. 1 lit. f. GDPR.

Usage data

When you visit our web pages, temporary usage data is stored on our web server as a log for statistical purposes to improve the quality of our web pages. This data record consists of

• the page from which the data was requested,

• the name of the file,

• the date and time of the request,

• the data volume transmitted,

• the access status (file transmitted, file not found),

• the description of the type of web browser used,

• the IP address of the requesting computer, which is truncated so that no personal identification is possible

The abovementioned protocol data is stored anonymously only.

2. Data transfer to third parties

We transfer your data within the framework of order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR to service providers who support us in the operation of our websites and the associated processes. Our service providers are strictly subject to our directives and are therefore contractually bound to us.

Data transfer to third countries

In some cases, we transfer personal data to a third country outside the EU. In each case, we take care to ensure an appropriate level of data protection.

When using Google and Meta services, an appropriate level of data protection results from the respective participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

3. Cookies

We use cookies on our websites. Cookies are small text files that can be stored and read on your end device. A distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and permanent cookies, which are stored beyond the individual session. Cookies can contain data that make it possible to recognize the device used. In some cases, however, cookies only contain information on certain settings that cannot be attributed to a specific person.

On our websites we use both session cookies and permanent cookies. Processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 Cl. 1 lit. f. GDPR with the aim of optimizing or enabling user guidance and adapting the presentation of our website.

You can set your browser to inform you about the placement of cookies. This makes the use of cookies transparent for you. You can also delete cookies at any time via the corresponding browser setting and block the placement of new cookies. Please note that our web pages may then not be optimally displayed, and some functions may no longer be technically available.

4. Tracking tools

For the needs-based design of our web page, we create pseudonymous usage profiles using Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are stored on your end device and can be read by us. This enables us to recognize returning visitors and count them as such. Data processing is carried out based on Art. 6 Para. 1 Cl. 1 lit. f. GDPR and Art. 15 Para. 3 TMG and in the interest of finding out how often our web pages are accessed by different users.

As a rule, the information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is transmitted to and stored by a Google server located in the USA. However, as we have activated IP anonymization on this web page, in the member states of the European Union your IP address will be truncated beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server located in the USA (an adequate level of data protection according to Art. 45 Para. 1 GDPR is ensured through Google’s participation in the Privacy Shield) and only truncated there. We have also concluded a contract with Google Inc. (USA) for order processing pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Google will use this information strictly for the purpose of analyzing your use of our website and compiling reports on website activity.

You can object to the processing at any time. In this context, please use one of the following options:

You can block the storing of cookies using a corresponding setting of your browser software; however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to make use of the full functionality of this website.

In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing cookie-generated data relating to your website use (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en). You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to permanently prevent your data from being collected in the future when you visit this website: Click here to object to the processing of your data by Google Analytics.

We anonymously measure visitor numbers on our website via Matomo. To do this, we evaluate the web server's log data and the abbreviated IP address. It is not possible to draw any conclusions about you as a person from this.

5 Online marketing

By using our website, you consent to the following processing of your data:

We use Google’s cross-device remarketing technologies to show you targeted ads on other websites based on your visit to our web pages. Data processing is based on your previously given consent pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Cl. 1 lit. f. GDPR.

When you visit our website, Google may retrieve recognition features for your browser or device (e.g. create a so-called browser fingerprint), evaluate your IP address, or store a recognition feature in the form of a small text file on your device (e.g. a so-called third-party cookie). Google may also link your visit to our website with one or more of these recognition features and store them to show you our ads on other sites on the Internet.

The recognition features described above are designed as pseudonyms and may be used by Google to recognize your device on other websites. For example, if you visit a page that participates in Google’s display advertising network (i.e. a page that displays ads on behalf of Google), Google can recognize your device and browser based on the abovementioned features.

We may also add remarketing tags to our web pages. This means that we can include keywords in our Internet pages that contain statements about the content of the displayed page (such as product or service categories). The keywords we use do not contain any personal or sensitive information. Google receives and stores these keywords for the purposes of the recognition features described above. Therefore, when you visit a page that we have tagged with a specific product category, Google stores that keyword and associates it with your recognition features.

This enables us to commission Google to place ads on other web pages based on which of our pages you visit. When you visit another site that participates in Google’s display advertising network, Google may use the recognition features and the keywords associated with those recognition features to determine whether to show you our ads and, if so, which ones.

You can find more information on how Google remarketing technologies work at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en-US.

If you log in to Google services with your own login data or use one or more of your own Google accounts, Google can link the recognition features of different browsers and devices. Therefore, if Google has created a unique identifier for the laptop, desktop PC, smartphone or tablet you are using, these identifiers can be associated with each other whenever you use or have used a Google service with your login data. This allows Google to target advertising campaigns across multiple devices. However, Google will only do this if you have previously consented to this type of data processing.

You can object to this form of advertising at any time. To do this, please go to https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155764?visit_id=638753741814845749-2463526010&rd=1 and deactivate personalized advertising. Please note that these settings may not affect all end devices and browsers. Further information is also available at https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155764?visit_id=638753741814845749-2463526010&rd=1.

This web page uses DoubleClick by Google, an online advertising network operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“DoubleClick”).

DoubleClick uses cookies to serve ads that are relevant to users, improve campaign performance reports, or prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. Google uses a cookie ID to keep track of which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent ads from being displayed more than once. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Cl. 1 lit. f. GDPR.

In addition, DoubleClick may use cookie IDs to track so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later uses the same browser to visit the advertiser’s website and make a purchase. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal data.

Using these marketing tools, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no control over the extent to which Google may collect and use information about you using this tool, so we provide you with the following information based on our current knowledge: by integrating DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you are signed up for a Google service, Google may link your visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the service provider may learn and store your IP address.

If you do not want to participate in this tracking process, you can disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.comhttps://adssettings.google.de/anonymous?hl=en-US, whereby this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies. Alternatively, you can obtain information from the Digital Advertising Alliance at the Internet address https://youradchoices.com/ about the setting of cookies and to change your preferences. Finally, you can set your browser to notify you when a cookie is set so that you can decide whether to accept it, or to prevent the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general. If you choose not to accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

This website uses the online advertising program Google AdWords and, as part of Google AdWords, the conversion tracking by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). We use Google AdWords to advertise our attractive offers on external websites using advertising material (so-called Google AdWords). We are able to determine the success of each advertising measure based on the advertising campaign data. We do this to show you advertisements that are of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.

The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an AdWords ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. These cookies have a lifespan of 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, both Google and zeb can see that the user has clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked through the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected by the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers receive information about the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any personally identifiable information about those users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can block this use by disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie via your Internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. We use Google AdWords based on our legitimate interest in targeted advertising in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Cl. 1 lit. f. GDPR.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield, which ensures compliance with the EU data protection standard.

Please note that if you have disabled the use of cookies, certain functions of this website may not be available or may only be available to a limited extent.

This website uses the Facebook custom audience via the pixel method from Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Facebook”). With explicit consent, this allows us to track the behavior of users after they have seen or clicked on a Facebook ad. This process is used to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and can help to optimize future advertising measures.

The data collected is anonymized, so it does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a link to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with its own data policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). They may allow Facebook and its partners to serve ads on and off Facebook. A cookie may also be placed on your computer for these purposes. These processing operations are only carried out if you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Cl. 1 lit. f. GDPR.

Consent to the use of the Facebook pixel may only be given by users over the age of 13. If you are younger, please ask your parent or guardian for permission.

To disable the use of cookies on your computer, you can set your Internet browser to prevent cookies from being stored on your computer in the future or to delete cookies that have already been stored. However, disabling all cookies may mean that some functions on our website can no longer be executed. You can also disable the use of cookies by third-party providers such as Facebook on the following Digital Advertising Alliance website: http://www.aboutads.info/choices/
