EBA Statement on the UN Climate Change Conference

The European Banking Authority has published its Environmental Statement in the context of the 26th UN Climate Change Conference 2021, highlighting its efforts to update and improve the overall environmental, social and governance (ESG) regulatory framework. This, the EBA says, will facilitate the banking and financial sector's transition to a more sustainable economy and mitigate risks arising from climate change and ESG factors.
